Word Owl lets you learn words & expressions in any language. You supply the words, Word Owl makes sure you know them.
Word Owl shuffles your words, asks them in both languages, and remembers the ones you’ve had difficulty with. The words you learn will not be asked again, so you can focus on the difficult ones. The list grows shorter and shorter until you learn them all.
As you type in the correct answer, the OK button will lit up – signalling that you’ve got it. If you’re not sure about a word, press the Solution button to reveal the answer. Word Owl will ask you the same word up to three times if you use the Solution button repeatedly.
Refreshing your knowledge is also easy, as Word Owl remembers all the words you put in. Simply select the words you want to practice, and re-enable them.
You can create separate lists for learning different languages, or for different people.
You can also use Word Owl to learn other things, as long as they come in pairs. For example, you could learn the capitals of countries.
